DNV type-approved solution for optimized maintenance
The ISM code requires that maintenance systems on ships must be class approved. DNV is one of the most recognized classification societies, and sets the strictest requirements in the industry. CCOM has therefore chosen to have our maintenance module in CCOMX classified by DNV.

The DNV approval confirms that CCOM's maintenance module meets all functional requirements in DNV's Machinery Planned Maintenance System (MPMS) class program.
The maintenance module itself in the CCOM X platform has been developed through several years of close collaboration with engineers, chief engineers and maritime experts to ensure a user-friendly, efficient and reliable solution for modern vessel operations. The system combines practical experience from the industry with DNV's strict requirements and current regulations, and provides a flexible and holistic approach to both planned and ongoing maintenance.
An effective maintenance system not only helps to meet the safety and environmental requirements set out in the ISM Code, but also to:
- Reduce the risk of unforeseen outages
- Improve the reliability of critical equipment
- Ensure better resource utilization and cost savings through optimized maintenance
